Fender launched 2025 limited models named Starmaster

Gear News

Fender has released the ‘Made in Japan Limited Starmaster,’ a 2025 limited edition model crafted in Japan.

The ‘Made in Japan Limited Starmaster’ is a newly designed guitar that blends iconic Fender neck and body shapes. It merges the unique headstock design of the 1970s Starcaster, known for its offset, semi-hollow body, with the increasingly popular Jazzmaster body. This model is a limited production run for 2025.

The stepped, two-tone headstock design of the Starcaster is also incorporated into the body’s elbow contour, and matching color schemes create a distinctive look unique to this instrument.

The alder body features Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups and a vintage-style floating tremolo. It boasts vintage tuners, a gloss-finished neck, a Modern “C” shaped neck profile with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard, and 22 medium-jumbo frets. A new logo decal is also featured. The guitar is available in four colors: Black, Candy Apple Red, and Jupiter Blue, plus an Antigua finish exclusively for Fender Flagship Tokyo and the Fender official online shop
